Speeding Fine with incorrect details

    Hi all,
    Need some advice here on a speeding fine recently received.

    I was recently caught speeding and when the Garda stopped me, I showed him my bank card as proof of ID. He also looked at the Insurance Disc and took the details of the car reg. He asked for my address, which I gave him, and he then explained that I would get a fine in the post shortly and that I would also get 2 penalty points.

    So, got the fine today, and there is two errors;
    (1) My address is incorrect - missing one line in the address (estate name)
    (2) The wrong reg number is on the "Alleged Offense" mentioned.

    Is this something that can be argued ?
    Do I not pay the fine and hope it is dismissed in court ?

    Thanks for any replys - first post !!!!:confused:
