Webcam software to record movies MPEG's

CAn anyone recommend a software download for making recordings of movies using integrated Dell inspiron 1545 laptop microphone and camera????

I have a sound recorder that works fine to produce .wma files but these are not acceptable on their own for upload to youtube etc.

My main interest in this is to upload recordings of me singing and playing guitar just to generate interest and garner feedback.

I am not all that interested in the video side of things, being past the age where appearances will generate interest in my act............but there seems to be a requirement on youtube for a video element.

Is there software out there which could combine existing .wma audio files with some still picture files and make a video of some sort as the output?
