I feckin hope not, that no talent cúnt doesn't deserve another dime from the wrestling business, and doesn't deserve to take someone who can actually work's spot in the rumble either.

But then again,he's mates with big nose so it probably will happen!

I disagree, Nash in the 94 Rumble was the best thing on that whole show.

How does he have no talent? What are you expecting from a 7 foot man? German suplexes? Nash is very talented. He's just way past his prime.

At least Vince has done something of note in the last 10 years. Never got how everybody seemed to love him. He's not even funny.

If the likes of Jimmy Snuka and Roddy Piper are allowed to enter then Nash should be too if it's a one time thing.

I wouldn't mind seeing him back if he was solely there to put the younger guys over or be a manager or something.

I love Nash! Would love to see him lock horns with taker again, I liked their previous mania encounter.

Nash even told another follower he'd dye his hair black. Vince wanted to bring Nash back to the company on the basis he would get rid of the grey hair. Nash didn't want to as "he's grey because god made him grey". Now he's for dying his hair.

I'd take him back, he may not be much in the ring but Nash is a big guy and can go on the stick

No, no, no. This is the Nash that was burying the X Division in TNA a few years back. Jericho had it spot on the other week when Nash started moaning about younger guys:
Following Kevin Nash’s recent comments on WWE’s “youth movement,” Chris Jericho has taken to his Twitter account to comment. For those who don’t know, Nash said it was a mistake because he felt younger talent doesn’t know how to draw money. ”You’re basically going to wait six, seven years to get any return on it (investing in younger stars), and I don’t think the business can wait that long.” Nash said.

    Jericho tweeted:

“Nashs interview was so short sighted and indicative of the entire “WCW” attitude. The WWEs Youth movement is a mistake? Ask Rock, Goldberg and John Cena if it took them six or seven years before they drew money. Six or seven months maybe…People want to see something new.”

The only way I want to see Nash on TV is if it is followed by a beatdown by Nexus.

God, Nash vying for a job via texting his mobile. It's pathetic. This doesn't deserve any attention/it's own thread. The guy can call his retired mate or his not-retired mate to put in a good word with Vince, or actually scroll down a bit farther on his phone and call Vince or Laurinitis himself. Lazy ass. Guy couldn't give two sh!ts about wrestling. His employment would only be many steps backward for WWE.

    Dude.
    That was 16 years ago.
Other awesome things that have happened in the last 16 years:

    Iphones
    Wireless internet
    High definition telly
    Blu Ray players

Crap things that have happened in the last 16 years:

    Terrorisim
    WWE-PG
Kevin Nash's positive contribution to wrestling as a whole.

Taker is hardly washed up. The Wrestlemania matches with HBK, Edge and Batista in the last few years should highlight that.

Bit of a push mentioning HBK, the guy could have a brilliant match with a mop. If nash came back id say HBK could get a 5 star match out of him! (yes thats how much i rate HBK)

Taker isnt "washed up" but he does need to be carried to a certain extent now....so puttin him in with nash would be a bad bad idea!

The chances of a Nash/Taker match happening are as likely as me headlining Slane, so I wouldn't really worry about it.

Nash became one of the worst things to happen to professional wrestling in North America!

Only time he looked interesting was the In Your House match with Shawn Michaels. Then again, Shawn could make others look good!

    His time has long passed!

Yes this isn't anything serious at all. It is just what happens when people become available 24 hours a day online, they say stupid things.

Yes but he dose take ridicusouly long breaks these days. He can still have great matches now & then tho just like Nash could have a great Rumble in him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,801 ✭✭✭✭Exclamation Marc

I wouldn't mind having Nash back on WWE as a mouthpiece or manager for someone.

He's very good on the mic, a lot better than 75% of the WWE.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,911 ✭✭✭bradlente

Correct me if I'm wrong but I dont think hes had a watchable match in years.Great mike skills could still be a good manager or colour commentator. As long as he stays out of the ring permanently I could see him as an asset in any company.

There seems to be a lot of bile directed at Kevin Nash for the quality of his matches these days. I agree with most people that it's hard to watch him in the ring, but I don't think that's a laziness issue - more to do with the fact that his body has been through so much. He may be pants in singles matches, but the Rumble is a different beast and he could actually make a contribution in that. Beyond that? I'm thinking mouthpiece.

The fact that he's coming out with all this so soon after saying he's quitting makes me think he's discovered that sitting around doing nothing ain't as much fun as he thought (either that or he is indeed working people), so he may come pretty cheap too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,013 ✭✭✭✭jaykhunter

Kevin Nash does not come cheap!

I think more people are annoyed that 1) he'll cost a fair bit; 2) he politiks 3) he'll take much needed focus off new stars (Sheamus, barrett etc) and 4) he won't add anything for the ratings. He might be able to fanagle Hep-Pac and Alco-Hall a job too :(

I wouldn't be against him in the Rumble, but i'd personally not like to see it because it's a gateway to him wrestling again in WWE. His last run in WWE was a huge botch. Although i do enjoy his promos and character he's more harm than good to the future of WWE.

    I did mean cheap relatively!

I don't think anyone could really argue for a permanent spot for the guy. But he'd be an interesting guy to chuck in mid-way through the rumble.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,013 ✭✭✭✭jaykhunter

my last post must've sounded ratty lol. i'd like to see him as a surprise entrant in the Rumble for the pop but with getting a spot on the roster, no thanks!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,289 ✭✭✭parker kent

He could make a pretty decent colour commentator. Much better than King or Striker anyway. If he could be limited to commentary and one or two special attraction low-card matches, it would be fine.

But his days of being a top level guy are over by about 10 years or more. Not that he was ever actually particularly useful in the ring.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 420 ✭✭KrazeeEyezKilla

This kind of stuff has been going on since the days of WCW, "if Hogan is willing to work with the younger wrestlers then he still has a lot to offer". The problem is that it rarely happens, once the 'legends' get in the door they aren't put under enough control. Nash is a funny man and would be a good commentator but that's all it should be.

Nash being a surprise entrant in the Rumble would be pretty cool. Him winning it? I don't think so.

he will be back in tna before the end of the year

why would vince sign up nash (other than HHH wanting him back), they have a younger, taller, more mobile clone down in fcw by the name of jackson andrews

    WWE (especially SmackDown) is hurting for recognisable big-name talent;
    Kevin Nash = somebody
    Jackson Andrews = nobody

I'm sure WWE would consider any former WWF/WCW champion that hasn't been around in a while!! (although I hope they don't!)

yeah but thats not been the way wwe has worked last 18 months, they have taken nobodies like barrett, sheamus etc and pushed them, having seen him up close the other night in belfast the next guy to get a big push in wwe is mason ryan, he is a taller version of batista

Kevin Nash has reportedly signed a new deal with TNA Wrestling, thus ending his contract dispute with the organization.

The former World Champion last appeared for TNA on the Oct. 14 episode of iMPACT! where he and Sting announced they were walking away from the company rather than join Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff's regime.

There's goes any chance of a rumble spot and beating Taker at Mania. Dear o' dear... :D
