Don't mean to rain on any parade and it sounds cliche, but no such thing as a cert. I wouldn't tip one knowing that if it lost you were to lose 500 bean.

Stitch the hole and put the 500 quid in it. Then you'll be dead certain not to lose it.

On a more serious note, as greetings has mentioned, there's no such thing as a dead cert and most people wouldn't be willing to give you a tip knowing that you could stand to lose that amount of money.

Best advice would be to put the 500 euro in your pocket and have a good break spending it rather than losing it.

Like most of the people have said, I'd put the 500 towards the cost of your weekend :)

That said, if you go through with it I might be back with a tip in the coming days. :D
