    First post in this forum.

In the market for a new bed to free up some space in my small bedroom. Figured a loft bed would make room to put my desk under and free up half the rooms space.

I would be open to buying a single however Im not a kid anymore and am used to having a double with the girlfriend :P The main reason however is the fact that my memory foam double mattress cost in the region of 800 euro.

    I found this:
    http://www.ikea.com/ie/en/catalog/products/00160866

This actually fit the bill perfectly but my room is shorter in height than most. For this to be put in I would literally be around 5 cm (or less) from the ceiling whilst laying down. Im not really into the idea of manually cutting down the legs trying to get them even.

Im not a heavy person so the bed wouldnt need to have extra support seen as its a double bed high up. I weigh in about 69kg if that makes a difference.

Can anybody help me go in the right direction ive searched night and day online to find one but no luck. Only luck being on an American site.

    Any help is appreciated :)

Buy it and get a chippy in for a few hours to shorten it down to the required size that you want.:)

Ive done this twice with 2 items of furniture that I wanted trimmed down to suiit a small office/box room.

It looks like its bespoke/custom made, the job is that good.
