Hardy Bucks. Funny or Embarrassing?

Personally I don't find it in the least bit amusing.

Watching a bunch of semi-retarded muck-savages, act well like well 'er muck-savages is just not entertaining.

Is this stereo-typing of our country cousins a fair representation of them?

Any opinions?

It has its moments.......very few of them.......and they are still mediocre. It was actually the same when it was on youtube. Taking it to that better produced (theoretically) medium of RTE didn't seem to improve it and actually took from the humor it had.

It's funny enough. Nowhere near as embarrassing as Fair City or some of the other shít that airs on RTE...and dont get me started on tv3's programming.

Hardy Bucks was a great lil self made comedy thing a few lads did on and posted on youtube,
It was good at first, then got better, and by the end was really good, touching on alot of aspects of a young males life thats pretty important and ignored.
Watching it, we all knew guys just like each one of the charactors, so, we could relate.
Then RTE came on board and made an absolute balls outta it.

Watch the web series if you've only seen the TV show, it's much better.
If you don't like either.....egh, you either 'get' the humour or you don't.

Think it's brilliant, think the youtube version might be a wee bit better though. Its like the Irish Trailer Park Boys.

It was pretty good on Youtube. The RTE version was terrible though.

That said I would happily watch it on repeat to the end of my days than sit through any of the "celebrity" related bolli* on TV3.
