    Hey, new guy here...
    I just bought the Samsung Europa GT-15500 Android 2.1 phone. Just getting to grips with it...
    I have a couple of questions:
    1. How do you get the Text to Speech to work?
    2. How do I set a black background on the applications window?

    Anyone please...!

    I ust bought oone of these for my GF, cost 99 euro on 3 network, Im curious to know how it performs so please ptost back. I understand for an entry level smart phoe it pretty good value, I like te build int WiFi feature too :D

    I just bought one too, have not figured out any of the text to speech apps yet, but have been trying to find a way to use voice activation, for voice dialing via my Bluetooth, any ideas??

    will try to figure out the text to speech

    You need to install "Voice Search" from the Android Market

    Piece of **** phone. First the digits would not work so could not delete voicemails, then the radio went and now cannot take photos.

    Also cannot forward texts.


    Rubbish.

    Searching the Android Market for Solid Colour Wallpaper brings up a good few suitable apps.

    Long press any particular text message in a message thread and the options menu for that message pops up.

    Listed in order:

    >Lock message
    >Call [number]
    >Forward
    >Copy message text
    >View message details
    >Delete message

    I bought the phone assuming it would rival an equivalent 'Nokia budget pebble phone', in the same price bracket.. and it does that perfectly, with proper access to Google services. Delighted.

    Battery is disappointing though.
