Hi All

Is the Sony KDL-32U4000 able to recieve Irish DTT

My Parents have one and I did an auto tune and all the Channels were there but I can only hear them there is no picture.

the live in a house East of mullingar with one of them crappy flat panel aerials colour king is it,

and at a guess the are getting signal from Longford.

Sony Kdl-32U4000 = mpeg2 = http://www.sony.lv/product/t32-u-series/kdl-32u4000/tab/technicalspecs read where it says tuning
Irish DTT saorview = mpeg4

This TV is not Suitable for SaorView/ DTT Aerial reception in Ireland.
