Hi guys, I was looking at setting up a business but the product created involves using historical images from around the world. Would i run into copyright infringements? If so, is there anyone i can speak to such as barristers or people with copyright knowledge that could help clarify this? thanks.

In general, copyright is retained for 50 or 70 years after the death of the work's creator depending on the country. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries%27_copyright_length

So for works within that timeframe your going to have to get some sort of licence agreed.
