Hi all, hope I have this in the right forum. Im looking to buy a "radio" for my car. Looking for the following features:

    -MP3/WMA compatible
    -USB Input
    -AUX input
    -Bluetooth
-Decent enough make - ie sony, JVC, Pioneer

I have seen a few with everything except bluetooth for around 100euro but the cheapest I have seen with bluetooth is 200 euro. Anyone know of any make/models I should look out for and where I might get it? I presume it cant be that expensive to have it bluetooth compatible?

    Thanks

Have had one with all the above and more from aldi for over a year and it hasn't missed a beat. I use the bluetooth to listen to music on my phone wirelessly. It cost me 70 quid if i remember correctly.

Plenty of choice actually, and don't discount going 2nd hand - often adverts.ie or ebay have ones for half the price of a new one.
I bought mine (Sony BT2500) which is a superb system (and the microphone is built into the head unit so no trailing wires) 2nd hand for about 80 euro. I can stream music from my phone, use it as the telephone plus the usual bits'n'bobs.

Had an Aldi one a while back, about 70 euro - worked fine but in my opinion the sound quality was poor compared to Sony, Pioneer etc.

Also, if you look on ebay, don't be tempted by the 100 euro TV, bluetooth, MP3 reversing camera do it all systems from the far east. I made the mistake of buying one. Garbage!

I'm after pretty much the same thing.

Needs bluetooth and AUX in, no need for USB etc but it probably will come with that and MP3 CD playback anyway.

Lidl had one with bluetooth for €59 just recently but it sold out pretty fast however I've 4 different aldi/lidl ones and they all have the same problem of a buzzing sound when my mp3 player is charging via the cigarette adaptor. Happens with different cars, chargers and mp3 players, on all the aldi/lidl ones. My auto electrician said it's the head unit itself so I'm looking for a decent brand and willing to spend a bit extra.

Would love to hear of one around the 90eur mark myself, delivered ;)

Dunno about the decent enough make but this ticks all your other boxes. I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago

I use it for streaming MP3 from my phone over Bluetooth.
I'm not an audiophile and the MP3s are podcasts so for me it's great.
Argos do 30 day money back so it might be worth trying out yourself.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Dont think I will chance 2nd hand, sometimes you can be lucky but may get stung just as easily. The closest I have seen to being within my price range so far is the JVC KD-R601, but still hoping for something a little cheaper. From what I have heard aswell, the cheaper players tend to start skipping on MP3 Cds after a year or so, and just tend to be more "rattly" overall.

Would you be bothered burning MP3 cds with all those alternative ways to connect an MP3 player?

Alpine have a few too. Can't remember my model, but it has all the requirements. Cost about 200 Euro delivered from the UK. It is close to this.

That's a bit too pricey I think considering we both just want pretty basic features. Also, I think a lot of the alpines don't have aux in without buying an additional cable for about €30 more :(

I went for the Sony 3800u in Halfords
    Link

Very easy to install, understated and great sound. I picked mine up for 175 last saturday, also use the AXAplus discount for an additional 15% off, if you dont have Axaplus, just tell the guy that the card is in the post.
