    Personally, I do. Not because I have antipathy towards the character, but because it would be a dramatic conclusion to a series which has jumped the shark.

    Well a better conclusion would be Dexter embracing his dark passenger more and losing his increasing compassion and connections, but that's not going to happen.

    Well at this point Dexter isn't the same disconnected, emotionless shell that he was back in season 1 & 2. He's just a guy with an identity crisis in an almost sitcom way.

    I was really hoping he was going to lose his grip and the lines between his version of good and bad would blur.

    Hawl him away, boys!

    It could only happen as the conclusion of the story, but if handled well it could be a great ending.

    As much as I don't want him to get caught, I feel like it has to happen.. That pay-off, those scenes of unbearable tension, they kind of have to happen, it'd feel like a cop out if they don't!
