    SVT1 HD and SVT2 HD will both broadcast free-to-air and unencrypted. Among the pay channels MTVN HD and National Geographic HD start immediately, the Boxer HD package is completed by TV4 HD, which commences on December 18.

    What? No TV3? :eek:

    Nothing, just an article about what's happening in Sweden. Boxer were of course involved in the commercial DTT process here until April 2009.

    Well, Boxer would have been a failure here. As would any other Pay DTT.

    They only added 1000 customers in last year in Sweden http://www.broadbandtvnews.com/2010/11/02/subscriber-standstill-at-boxer/ :(

    Watty maybe you could send that link to RTE, BAI etc to show and convince them that a pay tv service will never work here for tv and to try and get them put that idea to bed. We waited 12 years while they tried to push commercial providers and it failed dismally at each attempt. They need therapy if they think that pay tv would ever work in this small economy at this stage in time. :)
