Guys .... Thanks for the info, should come in handy, I was just on the Ticketmaster web site, wasn't sure exactly where the GENIE7DAY is applied,
I went through the process of buying tickets bar the final purchase click....
but at no time was it possible to use the offer code... Any ideas that might help....

Hi there,
That's a mystery - I was on the Ticketmaster site last night & there definitely was a box showing the GENIE7DAY code on the page where you order your tickets. I just checked there now & it's gone!

I suppose your other option would be to ring the Gaiety box office directly & quote the code over the phone. I actually prefer to book my tickets this way, as you can request certain seats (eg aisle seats / seats with extra legroom / seats for families with young children etc)

Update, I just tried a few more dates & the code is showing up on the Ticketmaster site for Monday, Nov 29th / Thurs 2nd Dec / Wed 8th Dec etc. Looks like they've now linited the offer to week nights. Maybe if you try a few other dates, you might find a code on a night that suits you.
