Anyone know pubs in Athlone that have regular music sessions.

I was recently in Fletchers on a saturday night and there was a really nice sort of singalong cum session, not all trad. There was really a nice athmosphere there. An accordian , guitar and a really good 5string banjo player.

    Anywhere else in town ??;)

    Presume the OP meant Flannerys!

As for the singalong ... you risk getting asked fairly abruptly to leave if you open your mouth during the performance on some evenings ... or worst than that ... be served fromm the dodgy tap ;)

I think you sell it short vam......

Flannerys is a unique establishment, with singalong on sat, trad on Sunday. and blooz on Monday. Each session attracting its own particular crowd.

But I didnt know there was a TV night as well.

Which night is it on, I cant wait to try my new thigh length black boots.:D
