No Picture/sound on second box

UPC HD box in one room works but small pace box that came free is only picking up the menu screen but no sound picture? is the "free" box only for a certain time? any ideas

I dont know of a time frame but from what I have seen of UPC when a free offer runs out they will start to charge unless you tell them otherwise.

Have you tried plugging it out for a few minutes?
