out of interest , how much is a reasonable price to pay?

If and when I sell my last Cortina, I was considering renting out my double garage...

At the moment i'm paying €75 a month for a space that can hold up to three cars if i park them in really tight. Two cars is a lot more comfortable, especially if they're big cars (the Mercs).

Hi All, I'm looking for space to do a car restore on the South Side of Dublin. Anywhere south of Tallaght / Rathfarnham area. I'd say no more than 3 months. Any help would be great.

I had the same issue here in NZ when i was heading to OZ for a few months work. Had to store 4 trucks. They have a nice solution there where you can rent containers. Rented 2 9m containers and managed ( had to get rid of and sell the bullbars ) to squeeze them in.

It's not Dry storage, but Mini Storage in Mahon works out at €7/w (x52 = €364), they're based near the Golf Course and SR Technics.

I've a car out there at the moment, (not a classic) under a breathable cover
You get your own code for the gates, can pick your spot, and they're easy to deal with.

As for dry storage, I couldn't get any reasonable quotes anywhere around Cork

Even 20'x8' containers were working out at €100/m, which over 1 year works out more than they cost to purchase privately
I wouldn't have the space to keep one, but either way it annoyed me too much

You'd see the odd one or two single private garages on property sites from about €80/m and upwards depending on location

Very nice guy, i know him personally (friend of a friend). Everything is above board with him, so the revenue takes most of the rent (rates), which is why he can't be competitive.

I have dry storage available in city, good rates with 24h on site security. Pm for more details.
Will not suit everyone as the car will be parked in my workshop, need to be covered and access is limited but I live just 1 mile away. I have classic cars myself so will only provide space for classic owner, please no time waster.
