Just back from seeing this now and have to say that I really enjoyed it. It's one of the funniest films of the year, granted little if any of it was intentional and I mean that in the good way not the bad. Statham is great in it, turning what could have been another int he long line of cliched coppers into an interesting and funny character. The rest of the cast don't really make an impression, Gillen is decent but as a character he's rather one note and Paddy Considine is really given nothing to do and seems to exist simply so that a number of gay jokes can be used. But it is Statham's film and he really does make it his own and in years to come will be the only thing the film is remembered for.

Yeah it is an enjoyable film that does not try to be anything other than what it says on the box.

Anyone who enjoyed it should check out the Jack trilogy.

    Jack Says
    Jack Said
    Jack Falls.

The trailer leaves out the best line I have heard in a film for a while:
"This lads, is a hurly, used in the Irish game of hurling, a cross between hockey and murder."

Didnt hear anything about this movie til now. Definitely going to try and see it soon!

It's basically just a rip-off of Dirty Harry but is still entertaining enough watch. Agreed that the hurley line is a classic.
