Cost of dialysis in Ireland?

A friend who's been abroad for a few years and thinking of moving back to Ireland may require dialysis within the next few years.

They asked me to try to get an idea of the cost of dialysis here - there seems to be no information online on this.

Would anyone have any idea of the cost of dialysis (probably haemodialysis) in Ireland?

    Public healthcare.
    Free.
Well 128 a month max for his meds
I don't think he'd get any charge for the HD. thou there may be nominal charges here and there.
Maybe someone else knows of other charges

Dialysis is only provided by the public sector and is free. At least, it is free to Irish/Europeans. If he is non-EU, there might be a cost attached - but I would think that any cost associated with dialysis would be prohibitive
