Just wondering where do people get their running gear?

I'm finding that its harder to dry my gear resulting in unsuitable gear been used from time to time so want to get some new stuff. The cheaper the better but I've an idea as to what I want

Dont mind if its online or local (dublin based)

Ive racked up enough tops from races to keep me going but i generally check amazon.co.uk when i want some bits. Ive gotten some seriously cheap compression termals which i love for the winter months.

Then there's also wiggle.co.uk and runways on parnell st.

I've used wiggle alot and have also started using sub4, both seem good value.
Also JJB sports in the square, they have alot of under armour type stuff.

    wiggle.co.uk
    sub4.ie

    www.startfitness.co.uk

I've used then a number of times for runners and clothing and always found them good.

Wiggle currently claim I've spent well over £700 with them in the last 12 months, and I thought I'd been restraining my buying during that time. Does give me a bigger discount with them though.

I have bought from time to run a few times. Very impressed with the quality and the price and cheap delivery rates to Ireland.

If you want to go to a bricks and mortar shop some of the bigger Elverys and Lifestyles have, or had, a decent range of gear. 53 Degrees North have a good range of base layers and they're starting to expand they're running range, the one in Blanchardstown had a good range of Ron Hill stuff last time I was in.

I was in 53 north. Love that shop but it is expensive for running gear.

Tanks for the links. Think I have what I'm looking for. Just comparing prices now

I've picked up a couple of Ron Hill bits in TK Maxx before. Not exactly an extensive range, but definitely cheap.

Sweatshop and startfitness.co.uk are great for gear and shoes and if you get on their mailing list, they notify you when sales are on and include discount vouchers. Great reliable service too.

Most places in Dublin abit hit and miss eg Arnotts,Runways and Lifestyle sports/Elverys
    I like this website www.forrunnersbyrunners.com

Ended just getting some stuff from the Nike shop. Decent price (cheaper than amazon on some stuff) and free delivery (and returns if needs be)

The Nike Store can have some great deals, there was a big thread on it last year when they were practically giving some stuff away.

Come on guys.... stick with Irish!!! and go for running.ie.

We don't need to export money to the UK for running gear :D. I've bought from them online a few times and find them very helpful and good value too.

How about getting stuff from California. I love the long sleeve Coolmax tops that are available from raceready.com . On the cold dark nights with the rain pouring away for some reason it feels good putting on gear from sunny west coast of America and its actually made in the usa not the far east. I found this site when wanting a pair of split shorts. The amazing thing is the speed at which it appears in your post.
