    Hi,

    1999 Peugeot 406 1.8L Petrol

    Wouldn't start for ages this morning.

    1. Turned key for about 30 seconds, engine trying to turn over but failing to get thet kick to start it.

    2. Tried to jump start it in gear twice but no good.

    3. Had to push it in off the road then. But when i tried it from a standing position then it started first turn no issue.

    4. Battery in good order, less than a year old.

    5. When I turn on the ignition there's a buzzing/whirring sound for ages (15-20sec) before it stops. I usually wait for this to turn the key to start.

    6. Yes, I had plenty of petrol

    Any ideas? This is the second time this has happened. Wondering is it due to heavy rain, possible water intake
