Hi guys,

I'm looking at getting a large diaphragm mic for home recording.
(subtext: cheap ).

Can anyone point me to products you like/use which will cover a wide range of Male vocals.
Or, if there is similar thread I'm sure it will be equally as helpful.

I was looking to spend €200 - €300, but I know price isn't everything with these machines.

SE2200a is a good start. AT2020 also.
Im a bit sketchy on the model numbers these days but Sound on Sound does have a lot of material on them.

If you dont subscribe to SOS you can still get the starts of the articles about budget microphones so you can google the models.

Or wait here for the peeps who can remember the model names
