Just wonderin how many Grand Nationals exist and at what courses? The thought only came to me because for some reason I cant recall hearing of a Cork Grand National before today. The ones I can think of are:
    English (Aintree).
    Irish (Fairyhouse).
    Scottish (Ayr).
    Midlands (Uttoxottor??).
    Welsh (Chepstow??).
    Ulster (Down Royal??).
    Kerry (Killarney??).
    Cork (Cork/Mallow).
Am I missing any and have I all the venues correct? Also what is the criteria for gaining Grand National 'status'?

Not able to answer your question, but there is only one 'Grand National',the one at Aintree, the rest of them are just known as nationals.

Is the Irish one not called a Grand National? Also Cork was listed as a Grand National today but that may have been a misprint.

Yep your right about the Kerry one I think. It gets confusing after a while. Is there possibly one in Kilbeggan as well? For some reason I have a Kilsomething National in my head.

There is only one Grand National though.
