So here's the problem...not my problem, just doing a favour for a friend!

He had an iphone with all his apps and music on it up untill a few weeks ago, when it broke! He got another one through his job and now wants to update it with all his old files!
As far as I know he doesnt have these files stored on a pc or mac! (Is it possible to get away without doing this?)

So he's wondering, been as he had purchased all the files if there is a way of getting them on to his new phone?

    Thanks in advance!:)

Would they not be tied to the iTunes account he created? I would think that when he logs in to iTunes on the new phone he'll be able to redownload any apps he paid for again for free.
