You cant self install the broadband afaik; at least that is what I was told.

The TV is pretty straightforward - they send you out the equipment, you hook it up and then call them and they activate the channels. Takes 30 minutes to an hour to get up and running.

I cant speak for the phone as I dont have it.

Edit: if you dont have cable coming into your house then you wont be able to self install.

I gave them my address when I was on the phone to them and they offered me the self install option. Things are quite different in Sligo and while I can remember them digging up our road last year putting down cable there is nothing coming up to or into my house as far as I know.

If it's your first time gettin UPC then get them to set it up. The self install is for getting a replacement box down the line. The guy that set mine up had to replace fittings and run new cable and he did a very neat job.
