She could always come down to Drimnagh BC, Dublin, on saturdays at 2pm to have a good training session with the senior/youth squad...

O'k so simple question, ideally this girl would do novices 1st which are on jan 14th, but if she waits and skips the intermediates in 2 weeks will she be wasting her time as far as getting any fights go?

If anyone knows of females doing the novices that would be great, she will be competing around 51kg or so-will do the intermediates if she has to.. Womens Boxing is all new to me-Thanks

That "Womens Open Tournament" doesnt exist anymore as it has been replaced by entering girls into ALL Nat C-ship. Though I think we still need tournaments for our more novice boxers and I will see to that during 2011.

    can she not do both?

novices is for 5 or less fights so if she had a couple of fights at inters i think she could still be entitled to fight in novices. i don't know the smallprint, maybe you're ruled out of novices if you get to a certain stage of inters...

    + i know someone at 57-59 i can ask
