    I made a thread here yesterday about not going back to work on monday. I wasnt looking for suicide advice. I was looking for advice for the mess that is work. I like what i do but i am getting nothing but pure dirty abuse at work for doing my job and my work. And i dont know how to make things better.

    As soon as a poster asks for advice and claims to have recently attempted suicide in that post or are considering suicide at this time, we must lock the thread and direct them towards qualified help - that is Boards policy for the good of the poster and for those who may reply.

    If you feel so desperate about any situation that you are getting so stressed about going into work then your first port of call should be your GP. Your mental health is more important than any job.

    Do you have an HR department? Is there any other managerial staff you could talk to? Do you have a union you could ask advice from? If there is no other method of complaint then there is no point being in a position that/managed by someone who is making you utterly miserable - while I appreciate the current economic climate is far from ideal for job changes, you might feel better that you are least working towards getting out that situation if you draw up CV's and start sending them out.
