GUI Handicap Fees

I joined a club in August, and eventually got my 3 cards handed in a couple of weeks ago. I think the added fee for the GUI card etc is €70. My question is, will this need to be renewed in January or would it run one year from now?

The GUI card costs 6 euro. GUI membership is 20 euro (I think). It is paid on an annual basis, normally at the end of the year although clubs normally include the charge in the annual sub.Card is only charged if you lose or damage it. If you have been charged 70 euro you should ask for a breakdown of expenses.
