Worried about the booking I made?

Hi everyone

I booked a flight on ebookers.ie. Everything was fine and I paid for the flight, which is at the end of November.

The bit I am worried about is when I was asked to enter in my name, middle name and surname. I did so, correctly. However on my passport, under surename it has my last name but under forename(s) it has my first name and my middle name (unsure if everyone else's is like this?). I know that the information entered has to be exactly the same as it is on your passport. Well, it was exactly the same, but since I had to enter a 'middle name' while booking my flight and my middle name is included under 'forename', will this cause a problem?

Am I overreacting? I'm inexperienced with booking and flying on my own.

If I didn't explain it well just tell me and I'll elaborate

That sounds right to me. As far as I know your middle name always appears under your forename. Certainly has anytime I have booked anything with my middle name.

What I'm basically asking is: if my middle name is present on my passport does it matter if it is missing from my airline ticket?

I have hundreds of flights under my belt. I have never used my middle name even though it is in my passport. No issues, ever, with any airline.

Your middle name is just another of your forenames which is why it appears in that section on the passport. Never bother using it when booking anything myself, no-one will care if it is there or not when your going through the airport.

Yep, me too, never enter my middle name on an airline booking even though it's on my passport and never had a problem. Don't worry, you'll be fine.

My daughter has the same worry about a flight she had booked with Ryanair. Turned out everything was fine with just the first name and surname!
