    I know of a man,
    who thought "living, I no longer can"
    so he got his gun and held it steady
    counted to 3 until he was ready

    shot himself in the head
    expecting to join the dead
    alas, his prayer was not fulfilled
    and he woke, alive and well,
    in hospital, note on his bed "nearly killed"

    He lost an eye,
    half of his jaw
    and could never speak again

    He now drives a truck
    and wouldnt it be just his luck
    is going to be killed soon
    in a horrific crash with horses.
