Can you call people using the iPod Touch?

    Hey guys! :)
    Thinking of either getting an iPod touch or an iPhone (leaning towards the iPod touch 'cause I like having a separate phone!!)
    But yeah, does anyone know if you can make calls using some sort of app using your iPod touch?

    You can make calls with skype and similar apps, kind of limited tho, wouldn't do to replace phone ! Go for iPhone, you won't regret it !

    I have an Ipod touch 2G

    no mic on 2G so I got the headphones with mic/volume on the wire

    I installed jailbreak/cydia/insomnia/sbsettings

    then installed skype from the appstore. using my skype account, i can make and recieve calls., using insomnia I can keep the wifi enabled when the screen is off.
