Satellite Signal in Multiroom

I currently have a Sky + box in the main living room. I am looking to setup tv's in a few other rooms and am looking for advice on what is the best option. In each room (2nd living room, and all bedrooms) there is a satellite cable and 2 cat5 cables that come back to a central board in the utility room. I would like to be able to view tv (something like freesat?) in the other rooms rather than paying for Sky Multiroom. What would be my options? Could I split the cables coming from the SKy dish and feed these into another satellite reciever or is this too simplistic?

    You can't split satellite cable.

You can run two additional cables from your satellite dish to feed Freesat receivers in the spare room and one bedroom. Your satellite dish will have a quad LNB installed (four feeds, two already used by Sky+ in living room).

You may get more advice in this forum.

get a quatro LNB and take 4 cables from your dish to a multi switch. from there you can have up to 16 or even 32 independent feeds. instead of individual feeds a quattro lnb receives one of the 4 types of satellite signals each (hor +, hor -, vert +, vert -) and then with a multiswitch you can have loads of feeds.
