Piano Bars/Resteraunts/Hotels in Limerick?

    Howye all...im a first year student in UL, need a job (who doesn't?:P) and I play the piano...
    I've been playin for about 12 years, done my grade 7, doing grade 8 atm so im hoping I could get a job playin the piano somewhere...

    Im from Galway so I havent the foggiest notion where to start...anyone know of any piano's around the city/UL?

    The Locke Bar has a piano man night as far as I know.
    They may accomodate you ?

    I'm not sure but I swore I saw a piano player at Dunraven Arms Hotel in Adare last May, it's worth a try

    Def. used to upstairs in the Savoy Hotel across from new Dunnes on Henry St. - May be out of date now though :confused:

    Right, ill go into town one of these days and try those spots, thanks a million:D

    Yup I could do weddings too....i've done a wedding before, and countless funerals, as I used to be the organist fo the choir in my local church before I moved down here, theres actually quite a bit of politics involved with playing the organ at weddings etc, i've heard stories of some people being quite peeved indeed at the notion of an 'outsider' playing 'their' organ....
    but yeah, worth a shot, ill definitely look into it!

    Not around the city, but durty nellies used to have an old upright piano. Mind the pedestrian crossing though!
