    not that i know of.
Even if you did you will have to pay an extra 15 per month for multiroom and 15 extra for HD,

The deal I got a few weeks back was exactly as you described, namely, upgrade to Shy+ HD box in main room and I have a Sky+ box as my multiroom option.

My bill is increased by €30 a month (€15 each for HD sub and multiroom) but +HD box and installation was free.

If you don't take up the HD sub then there will definitely be a charge on either box or install (or both, and IIRC it is around €110 upfront) but if your requirement is as per mine then I think the free box / install is still on offer for existing customers ATM.

TL;DR - If you take the HD sub you will likely get free everything, no HD then upfront costs likely

You don't need to take HD sub, just take multiroom-box is €69 and install is free. The cost of multiroom for existing customers is €15 per month

so if i dont take the HD sub, which i dont really want, how much will a second + box be?

i already pay 15 a month extra for my multi room on a normal box, so i just want a + box, preferably a HD one for the extra storage as my multi room box.

Th only way to get a price for a new box would be to ring sky - but the HD offer might still be cheaper - the price on the sky site for HD is 30 install, 15 a month (the first month is free) so the total cost would be 175 (30 + 11 x 15), see http://www.sky.com/ireland/upgrade/ - assuming you drop the HD after a year.

PS Sky are ringing some existing customers (they rang me!) and offering the HD deal, but at 5 a month for year (so works out at 90 for the year) - it might be worth seeing if they'll do this for you. (Not sure I believe them, but they told me it was only available to me as I'd been with Sky for 5 years!)

€99 for box and €60 install-ring them and be nice about it saying you already pay for multiroom and would like to know if they can do you a deal on getting it cheaper-if not just mention UPC,that tends to work:)

just to get this straight so guys, i also have Sky+ and want to get the Sky+HD box (since it is the standard now) , i have no multiroom, just sky on main TV.

If i rang them up and said i want to change my Sky+ box to a Sky+HD box with no HD pack would it cost me 99€ for the box and a 60€ install? and thats all?

I assume my sub would stay the same as im not taking the HD pack.

but i would get the free HD channels (BBC,ITV and Lux)

hope i got this right. :p
