Resource qualification for 2nd level ?

    Anyone got any leads on where a person could get a qualification for resource teaching at secondary school level ?

    St. Angela's in Sligo has a range of Grad Dip/Masters courses in Special Educational Needs

    UCD has a one-year full-time Grad Dip in SEN & and an M.Ed part-time option too.

    UCC does a part time 1 year course but snag is that you must already be in special needs to get onto the course.

    Mary I the same, although I have heard of a principal signing off on it and giving the teacher some classes for supervision purposes.

    The M.Ed in UCD is 2 evenings a week, Trinity also do an M.Ed in SEN 1 evening a week.
