    Just seen this on a website a moment ago. It's at a relatively low price. It's kind of like an MPC and I hoping to buy it today. I'm just wondering why it's priced so low?

    Thanks.

    Er, if you're comparing it to an MPC, this one's just a MIDI controller, while the MPC is a sampler and sequencer and all as well.

    Ok thanks. So is this still farely useful? I wouldnt be sampling using this I doubt.

    Ok, just bought this yesterday and I'm just having trouble setting it up and connecting it to my software etc. Can anyone help me?

    What software are you using? Are you using MIDI or USB to connect it up?

    FL Studio for the moment. Using a USB.

    I got it hooked up now but still having some problems. It's connected to FL now but it's not working to its full potential. I think I've gotta map it out but havn't a clue how to.

    Also, when I have my kicks/ snares etc. Only one sample can be played at a time. ie. all the pads are the same kick, just different tones.

    I don't use FL so I can't help you with the mapping thing. I'd be surprised if you couldn't find some info about that with a quick Google though.

    Sounds like you have your drum sounds in a sampler, like you might use for playing string samples. Is there not a drum machine instrument to load your samples into? That's how it works in Ableton, separate instruments for triggering different samples and pitching one sample.

    Im not to sure now. As I said I'm very new with hardware so I just need a little push to get things going and I'll pick it up from then onwards. Thanks.

    You're not having any hardware issues here, this is all software stuff you're dealing with now. And can you not push yourself? :p

    I only noticed this bit in your earlier post now;

    You know what you've got, don't you? It's a MIDI controller, it doesn't have any audio hardware in it, all it does is send signals to your computer to control your software. Sorry if that's patronising, but just so we're clear. Your computer is handling all the sound, and your controller is only telling your computer what to do with it.

    Oh I totally understand. Now, FL has this yoke called a FPC. I've been using that and I've nearly gotten the hang of it.

    Wow it's been awhile, totally forgot about this thread. So it's hooked up at the moment, What do you want to use it for? Kind of like and MPC? Kick on one pad, snare on the other etc. ?
