    http://www.mensrunninguk.co.uk/

Picked this up with my normal stash yesterday, a kind of Men's Health version of a running mag, fox on the run, running's hardest men, etc.
Jury is out for me at the moment, some interesting articles in there (far and few between really), quite a few spoiled towards the end with attempts at humor, tabloid style headers and some irrelevant stuff like building up your biceps.
2 out of 5 for me - must try harder, will give them one more chance.

They realised a womens ones ages ago aswell. If I remember correctly it was mostly about how you can look good.

Had a free read of this a few days ago, unimpressed. Not enough articles in it and too much ads. Ellie goulding is hardly a fox now in fairness.

Picked this up about 6 weeks ago in the UK when it had just come out. Same old stories but without the quality of writing that you get in RW or RT.

I know the female version has been pretty successful, but not sure this one will follow that success.

    I won't be buying again.

yea, really dont see the point of this tbh

I really dont think running is an area where we need a "lads" mag :)

Picked the first issue up a few weeks ago. Nothing new. Still think Running Times is the best read. Running and Fitness seems to have changed their output, more for the serious runner. Runners World has gone to the dogs.

Agreed, Runner's World is awful. Too much advertorial and just crap articles. You can read it in five minutes in Easons.

The general consensus seems to be that Running Times is the best? Picked up the quarterly trail magazine

Big improvements over the last year. The latest was very good. The articials on Tony Mangan, Dick Hooper and Jim Aughney were good reading. Not too sure on the TD's walking/jogging the marathon - a case of 'so what'.

I find the vintage of a lot of the interviewees to be closer to the editors? Just think for balance I would like to see a wider spread of interviews and articles? Could do more on underage for example. I know the juvenile championships often get 3 or 4 pages but probably two thirds pictures. That unfair?

Men's Running - picked up the first issue of this magazine; I won't be picking up any more. Load of crap. A cross between a running magazine and some purile "lads' mag". I don't know what I was expecting to be honest, but something better than that anyway.
