    Getting that travel bug again!!

So this time id like to look at doing less flying and more over land travelling! So, what is the cheapest RTW ticket out there??

To be a bit more specific, id like to head to oz and rail across the south coast and then hit some pacific islands for a good while, fiji, samoa, micronesia, cook islands etc etc

So what ive found is that its generally cheaper to get a rtw ticket to get down there!

Can anyone link me to the cheapest they have found??

I have this one: http://www.roundtheworldflights.com/anzoffer7.aspx which is 673 pounds (ex tax).

    C'mon, someone do better! :D

Well it's impossible really to link to the cheapest as the flights change all the time. It's like saying 'link me to the cheapest flight from Cork to London'.

Even the one you've chosen is dependent on when you fly and availability.

The cheapest is the one in which you leave during a month not many want to fly (maybe December), and only stop 3 or four times, and go to Aus the same way you come back. And possibly cheaper to go over Asia.

When I did it I booked a one way ticket to Aus with a 9 month stopover in South Amercia and then used Air Asia to get from Aus to Asia and Jet Airways home. But I wanted flexibility.
