Free Pot for Pensioners scheme

My old Dad came up with a great idea. He thinks there should be free marijuana for pensioners.

When you've pissed away most of your life working, you really need to need to chill out. You should be able to relax with a nice big spliff.

This would deal with so many medical issues, how many old people have you heard having back pain? It's meant to be great for that. You wouldn't have any more grumpy old people is what I'm saying, and if they're properly able to relax at home, they'll be flying it when they're walking around town like, you won't get held up behind old ladies anymore, sure don't you know they're only slow because they can't relax properly at home, have you ever been kept up by loud music all night only to be knackered in the morning? Being old's a lot like that.

It would be a huge boost to the economy as it would encourage old people to take up creative arts, start up bands, do mad paintings and what have you, and would be a big boost to our tourist industry as we'll be known as the land of mad old people.

    What do you think?

No need to provide it for anyone. As drugs go it's one of the cheapest to produce, place seeds in soil, put pot in window and wait.

Just legalise home growing for everyone.

I think your onto something there.

It was also mean that no pensioner is left alone this Christmas.

Just what we don't need, ever more people out of touch with reality than currently exist.

I'd love to see the real figures for how many people in this country consume marijuana on a regular or semi-regular basis and how much of it is consumed in this country. Huge amounts of my friends and acquaintices consume it with varying degrees of regularity and I enjoy it myself every now and then.

The opportunity cost of the lost opportunity for taxation / duty must be staggering. Not to mention the benefits of regulation of the quality being sold.
