Anyone looking to set up a Rock band in Limerick?

Long story short, I'm desperate to get gigging again. Influences are not really relevant at this early stage. If your interested in setting something up (Soft/Hard Rock) we can chat about what direction to take before anything is set in stone.

im a bass player, playing about 18 yrs, gigging about 16 yrs. im already in a covers band, looking to do some rock originals as a bit of a side project. give me a pm if you're interested.

24 y/o Drummer here.

Have been trying to get an originals band together but ran into various problems with a lack of PM (one group of lads in Caherdavin I was talking to said "What's that?" when I asked them if they already had a PM...), no practice space, missing musicians.

I spent a while there looking to get a covers group together but we were missing a singer, and then Insect Overlord put himself forward as a singer and the bassist pulled out before we even got practicing. A few response-less posts later and I just forgot about it.

If you do manage to get a whole compliment of musicians together and are in need of a drummer let me know!! I have about 2 years experience in gigging from when I was 21/22 in bars like Shannon Knights in Shannon, Clancy's in Bruff, Baron McQ's in Ennis...

The type of stuff we covered was Nirvana, QOTSA, AC/DC, The Doors, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin and a few crowd pleasers from the likes of The Killers, Kings of Leon, Kasabian, etc. twas great fun to be had by all!! miss it to bits

I'm still available (4/7 evenings a week anyway) as a singer, but there are at least two of us (another drummer and me) who were left very disappointed when Brendan last told us he wanted to put a band together.
