Check your receipt from Tesco or Woodies, other may have it as well - there is an issue date on some of them, that's the way I found it (didn't work for me but thats another story that has nothing to do with dabs).

    Good luck.

    Doktor.

Yeah, but I have used the advice, it was incorrect.
I have asked the clerk of AIB, they told me the mastreo card didn't have "issue number"

Then you're screwed, pretty much. I was trying to top up funds on to my virtual visa card online from the laser card (maestro too, etc) but it never worked... so sorry to say this, but by the looks of thigs you will have to forget about it and get yourself something like https://www.3v.ie/

Did you try the 000 as issue number? This has worked for me before

I think 3v cost extra money.
    Try paypal.
    How long of issue number?
    2 or 3 digits?

Issue numbers are only on (some) UK Maestro cards. I don't believe they were ever included on Irish Laser/Maestro cards.

OP - if you're using dabs.com, they're talking about UK Issued Maestro cards there. I don't think their UK site accepts Laser/Maestro

Yeah, costs some peanuts indeed.. I used the Start Date, also had an option to use either Issue No., used the date, didn't work. Used 0's as the issue no - nothing. These lasers from AIB are quite useless if it comes to buying online.

So, it's a good idea for using 3v

Well I had no choice myself, registered with Entropay, but ironically they required a real visa card to top up the virtual one (what's the point to have a virtual one then?) so after spending some time with their helpdesk - who were brilliant and very responsive by the way - I had to cancel my account with them, as they couldn't get my irish laser/maestro working.

3v apart from it's limitations seems to be a great solution for me.

wirecard.com allow bank transfers to topup your virtual card - for future reference.

The wirecard is not a Ireland company.
I would try to use the 3V.
    Any Idea?

Dabs don't accept Laser payments, and Laser is not a Maestro debit card, so you can't use it. There is really not very many places you can use Laser online. In essence, forget about Laser completely.

3V is simple to set up, though it's become very hard to find shops that will let you buy the voucher. The list of retailers on the 3V website is woefully out of date. Payzone Money is often recommended as a better alternative.
