Iphone. what data plan do you use?

2gb a month from 3 at €40pm. Usually have 30% or more unused by end of billing period.

It depends - If I use it for tethering my laptop/desktop I can use the 2GB in a week or so (heavy browsing/lite downloading) but if I'm using it for just a phone basis I would say on average I would use 400mb (probably helped by the fact that my iPhone is connected to a Wi-Fi network when at home)


Basically, if you use it for purely a phone perspective - it would be challenging to use the allowance
But if your tethering, it would be realistic to say that you would use all of it with light browsing/mobile usage for the month.

i was wondering as i'm with O2 as a pre pay customer just with an ordinary nokia phone. But if i change to bill pay and get the Iphone i see i can only get 1gb data. thought this was dissapointing

2GB per month from 3. Usually don't go much over the 1GB.

250 Mb/month from O2 (€6 + VAT) - I've never exceeded 150 Mb/month to date, probably because the phone automatically uses Wi-Fi at home, work, and in most of my friends and relatives houses.

O2 are Rip offs. I just moved to meteor for 25e a month bill pay.

This is pretty good.
It was 30 before but 25e if you get it online.

O2 Simplicity, with 250MB data addon, works out about €26pm or so, on iPhone 3GS.

mostly, I'm in wifi zones, so 250MB is sufficient for me.

Was thinking of getting the iPhone4 on 3, but read on too many issues with iPhone on 3 so have veered against it.

100 any network minutes and 100 any network texts for 20eur a month. Then an extra 6eur or so for the 250MB data addon.

Now that's a joke the 250mb add in for meteor is 5e.
But with that 5e in this case you'll be getting 1gb.

On 02 with 2gb per month free 02 calls and texts 150 mins other networks 100 texts and 10 mms a month for €40. Usually use most of data though I do monitor it closely and download accordingly.

Live rural so Wifi hotspots are rare.
