Has anyone ever bought from the Next website? They seem to have a much better selection online - like some of the stuff i see online i don't see in the shops at all so was half thinking of buying stuff that i like the look of. If the stuff isn't suitable can you return it to your local store or do you absolutely have to return it by post again? If so how much is it?

    Thanks:)

I've bought a good few things from the Next website, they have a much better selection than in store. I always chose the option of getting it delivered for free to my local store and I normally have it within a week. I have returned things to them, and I just returned it to the shop with no hassle. Would recommend with no hesitation! My only issue is that the website can be a bit confusing if you are looking for a particular item, but other than that, it's fine.

and can you return it in the same packaging they give you or must you sort that yourself?

Thanks for the quick response btw:)
Sorry i misunderstood what you said - you say you CAN return it to the store and get your money back or they send it back for you?

Yes you can just return it to the store for a refund.

I recently ordered a coat from the Next Directory (the big catalogue with all the online stuff in it) in my local Next store (they have copies of the catalogue at the till). If you order in store you also have to pay in advance, like online. It was ready for me to collect in the store a week later. I didn't like it (the fabric wasn't what I expected), so I just returned it to the store the following day, got an immediate refund onto the credit card I had paid with.

Oh that's great cos from the website it looked like you had to return it to England or wherever you got it from when you ordered online. So i can order online for it to be delivered to my local store, collect it there and then if it doesnt suit i can just hand it back to my local store and get my money back?

    GREAT!

    Thanks!

So you can order from the catalogue in store? I didn't realise you could do that at all! That's brilliant. There's a pair of boots I really want but I really don't want to put it on the credit card and they don't accept laser online.

I also didn't know you could get online stuff delivered to the shops, that's great.

I used to order from next all the time and like you I'm dying to get a pair of boots from them, I cannot get checkout to work even though my card is working fine:mad: I'm going to have to go in to the store to order now

I love when you can return stuff you bought online to the shop Makes life so much easier.
There definately is a better selection online.
Does Next use An Post or a courier to deliver their stuff?
I hate couriers because i live in the middle of nowhere and directions are a problem.

This is an issue I have had with them from time to time, the website would show that it was processing my card for ages but never actually go through. I bought stuff from the website recently and I was able to check out ok, so maybe it's just an intermittent problem.

Sorry if I wasn't clear in my earlier post,
You CAN get the items delivered to any store.
You CAN return the item to any store (not necessarily the one where it was delivered too)
It DOES NOT have to be in the original packaging, it's just like returning an item you bought in store. The only difference is, they don't credit your card in store, that is all done through the distribution centre in the UK so the refund may take a little longer to appear on your card.

Go into the store first and get your e15 off voucher. It's valid til Nov 8th.
