anybody know of an insurance co that will take the NCD on one policy into consideration when quoting for a second car on a new policy??

I want to use the 7NCD i have built up on a sports car, but am getting crazy quotes for insuring my everyday car (bmw 320d) on a new policy.

It is making no sense, no nonsense will give me a discount on a new policy if i have up to 5 years no claims as a named driver on someone elses policy, but no discount on a new policy if i have 7 years no claims driving on a policy in my own name???!!
