Is there any way you can import facebook profile pictures into your iphone contacts?
I have seen it done with another phone and just wondered if it was possible on the iphone.
    Thanks

Click on friends and then sync

Friends in the iPhone app, not in the contacts section.

Obviously in the Facebook app. There is no friends tab in contacts anyway

Just be careful with this, as the sneaky b**stards then upload your full iphone address book onto facebook and you will then be suggested as "a friend to add" to some of these people. I got caught by this (as this is/was totally undocumented) and I was being suggested to colleagues and business contacts, people who I would not want viewing my facebook profile. Facebook has a feature where you could delete these numbers from their server, which was broken for months until very recently. While I have been able to remove them from my profile I don't know if these numbers are still stored on their server and suggesting me as a friend to these contacts

    Thanks again

What iPhone is it, if it's a 3GS or 4 on os4 or above ya can do it
Press the home button twice and swipe the bottom of the screen from left to right, tap the padlock to lock the rotation. Tapping it again unlocks it

I use MyPhone+ for iPhone , its much more user friendly than using the facebook option .

    Just reviving this thread now.

I've used the sync option in the Facebook app but it doesn't seem to have put everyone's picture into my phonebook? I thought maybe it was because some of the names in my phonebook are under nicknames but one of my mates pictures is showing up despite that.

    Any ideas?
