yeah so I read that article and thought, that's a pretty novel idea. maybe you're admitting defeat or something by admitting your ugly if you use a site like that, but if it works for you then it's a win, right?

I'm sure I'll get a few "I bet the OP is ugly" comments, but to hell with it.

I think in this case "ugly" means fat - the guy in the story doesn't have an unsightly face at all, but he would look better if he lost some weight.
