    hi,

i'm about to replace a stove with a larger one with a boiler. i can get the chimney sorted alright, but the two water pipes need to go up the wall of the sittingroom, and then they can be boxed off upstairs until they enter the attic. i'm putting a dual coil tank up there and anything else i need. without boring you to tears, i'm thinking of running the two pipes up the wall, on the surface i.e. visible!! i'm wondering if anyone has done this? i was thinking of using stainless steel and maybe shaping them for aesthetics?

anyone got ideas/pictures of a similar situation?
what about someone who can supply stainless pipe and then bend it to specifications?

    regards,

    Edd.

Safety issue. The discharge/ flow pipe is going to get very hot. needs protection.
Also need to insulate the pipes to ensure efficient running of the stove and that all the heat transfers to the coil in the cylinder for hotwater.

Also stainless stell will be very expensive... get a decent carpenter to box in pipes and do a similar box on the other side of the chimney. will look asthetically better and make a feature of the boxing.
