anybody here ever use chill.ie online brokers for motor insurance??
they seem good value but onr thing is bugging me.... they are charging me more for my 150tdi leon than they would for a 225 cupra r leon of the same year and value!!!

Easy solution,get a Cupra

wouldnt mind at all!! but for the 40 yoyos in the differance it would be hardly worth it!!

cant understand that a 225bhp turbo petrol can be cheaper to insure than a tdi that looks almost the same with 75bhp less!!

goes to show what a rocket the red TDI are lol

You are limiting what you are basing the risk on to what power the car has, an insurance company doesn't do this, its likely they've paid out more claims on the tdi version and therefore assess it as a higher risk.

Just got my forms today. On the quote i got off the chill site it said i had step back NCD but on the form it said i have no NCD?
