    www.mobiledjforums.com and www.mobilediscodirectory.co.uk
are good places to start. There's a good few Irish on the former
and a lot of the uk stuff applies to us too

Buy your own amp and speakers now to avoid wasting money on renting. In the long run you will save a good bit of money. Get some business cards printed up and leave em places or give them to perspective future clients at gigs etc. Maybe try start djing for any upcoming birthdays/partys your friends are having(its a good way to get started). Just try get the name out there basically. For the most case doing 18th/21sts are absolutely piss easy, its 30ths, 40ths, weddings and the likes where you will need to have specialist music.

    Good luck with it.
