Never heard of it. They had excellent green hot cylinder lagging jackets for €8 in Homebase a couple of months ago. Hardly a case for a grant scheme!

Its not just about a free lagging jacket. Its a grant scheme to make your home warmer so lagging jacket, loft insulation etc Have a read of the leaflet link below then call the number on it if to see if your eligible as it says eligibility may vary with region and a small fee involved unless your unable to pay that.

Are you sure it was for a free lagging jacket? These are two-a-penny and the savings will be realised in a matter of months!
Please also install pipe insulation on all pipes in the hot-press. It's amazing how much more efficient this will make the whole system.
I was loosing just less than ~150 watts of heat through my hotpress pipes per hour, but I've reduced this to ~75 watts by fitting more insulation.
