I've only been done once, at 172 km/h. I've driven many thousand kms at 130-140 with no tickets to show. So, how slow can you go, and still get a ticket?

I suppose 130-135 on a radar gun may be allowed, 140-150 on your speedo?

GF's dad was stopped on the rock road recently doing 72 in a 50, guard said to him they were only pulling in those doing more than 70...

from what i remember hearing at an rsa event recently, they allow 10% usually. but they do depend on conditions at the time. so about 132 km usually on a motorway but if the rain is falling hard, anything above 120 can be stopped!

I got stopped well in excess of the speed limit but got no ticket as it was a medical emergency.

In fact I got an escort for most of the trip. I still want to thank the Gardaí but I don't know who it was

Other than that I've had no issues

I'm of the impression that the speed camera's don't work that well with bikes. It seems to be the case with me.

Gasto's are hilarious on a bike too. But blinding if your close.
